WHAT CHARGES AND CPT CODES DO YOU USE?
The following CPT codes are used for our routine services to facilitate your insurance submission for reimbursement.
- The first appointment, the Diagnostic Intake, is billed at $195 for 80-minutes, using CPT code 90791.
- The second appointment, often a continuation of the first, is also billed at $195 for 45 to 60 minutes, using CPT code 90847 or 90837.
- Thereafter, routine appointments are billed at $150 for 50-minutes, using CPT code 90847 or 90837.
DO YOU TAKE MY INSURANCE FOR REIMBURSEMENT?
We want to help you and your loved ones without the potential of causing you problems later due to a diagnosis on your records. As such, we do not bill any insurance companies directly. We want you to be in control of the information included in your health record.
DO YOU PROVIDE RECEIPTS FOR REIMBURSEMENT?
We will provide you with a receipt for our services that you may submit to your insurance company at your discretion. Some insurance companies require you to call them prior to the initial appointment to trigger authorization for reimbursement. If you are calling your insurance company, our practitioners are considered Out-of-Network providers.
DO YOU ACCEPT MY INSURANCE?
Using your medical insurance for counseling has some risks involved to you. To use your medical insurance, you must be given a mental disorder diagnosis which will then be listed on your medical record. This can cause problems later when you might be asked “have you ever been diagnosed with a mental illness?” on a job application or when applying for health insurance, life insurance or the arms services.
We want you to be in control of the information provided to your insurance company. We want to help you and your loved ones without the potential of causing you problems later due to a diagnosis on your records. That is why we do not take health insurance as reimbursement or bill any insurance company directly. Instead, we ask that you pay for services at the time of your appointment and we will provide you with receipts as requested.
